Several volunteer opportunities are available at the lab as well as at release sites.
Interested in learning how beetles are raised?
Are you crafty and want to use your skills to make props and signs for outreach?
Do you love talking and engaging the public?
Would you like to spend some time outdoors helping trees?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, we can find something for you to do at the lab. Contact Angela DelConte for additional details.
Inform others about the spread of the hemlock woolly adelgid and the impacts it has on the trees and the ecosystem in general. Be aware of infested hemlocks and avoid spreading this invasive species.
Attend Hemlock Fest, all proceeds to toward saving Hemlock trees. Visit Parks, Park fees are used to maintain parks including treating hemlock trees.
