Alumni Groups (Shared Interest Groups - SIGs)
A Shared Interest Group is a set of UNG alumni who actively communicate, engage, and/or support a common purpose or bond, a central unifying mission, background, or activity beyond class affiliation or regional proximity.
SIGs connect alumni across the country and around the world to each other, undergraduate and graduate students, and faculty-staff, to the University and its resources through events, websites, social media, and other programming.
Board of Regents considers sector policy and strategic plan

At its meeting on May 14, the University System of Georgia (USG) Board of Regents reviewed a draft policy outlining institutional function and mission for the system's 31 institutions that would change the sectors in which some USG institutions currently reside.
