The Human Muse: Drawing from the Model
Ray Lee is the 2016 Best in Show winner from the Spring Reciprocal exhibition. His extraordinary portraits capture the essence of his sitters in pencil – often left just barely unfinished for the viewer’s eye to complete.

This annual exhibition allows students, faculty and visitors on the Oconee campus to see work by selected Department of Visual Arts faculty from Gainesville and Dahlonega campuses. Michael Marling from the Dahlonega campus and John Amoss of the Gainesville Campus have been selected for the second Transfers exhibit

Every two years the UNG Art Galleries hosts exhibitions of recent work by Department of Visual Arts faculty on each campus. These exhibitions include a wide variety of media and styles from traditional drawing and painting, to ceramics and sculpture, printmaking, video and mixed media works. This is an opportunity to see the remarkable work produced and taught at the university.

Oconee Campus Gallery
The Oconee Campus Gallery is located on the Oconee Campus in the lobby area of the Faculty Center/700 Building, near the Bookstore. The art gallery displays approximately six exhibits yearly.
Gallery Hours during Exhibits:
- Monday through Thursday: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Friday: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
