In Residence Program
This program is the first in residence program to be devoted to ethical leadership integration in business education at the University of North Georgia. The In Residence Program at the BB&T Center for Ethical Business Leadership within the Mike Cottrell College of Business integrates business executives and expert academicians into the daily activities of the college through curriculum and programming to facilitates critical thinking, promote disciplined decision making, provide real-world experiences and support education in ethical business leadership.
The focus of the BB&T Center for Ethical Business Leadership is to create value by developing ethical leaders in business and in aiming for this, the In Resident will assist the center, the Mike Cottrell College of Business, the community and all of our area's future leaders through various initiatives.
SIR (Scholar In Residence) - Master's degree or higher related to business
EIR (Executive In Residence) - Significant business / industry experience
There will be a one year commitment in serving as the In Resident for the BB&T Center for Ethical Business Leadership to conduct and participate in initiatives such as those exampled above to support the north Georgia communities on ethical business leadership development, education and other experiences. The BB&T Center for Ethical Business Leadership expects the In Resident to have strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as have an understanding that they are representing the BB&T Center for Ethical Business Leadership and will be held to the Mike Cottrell College of Business ethical principles and conduct themselves and all business professionally as such.
