Posting Job Vacancies/Internships
You can register with the UNG Job Board at College Central and post jobs and internships FREE of charge at UNG. This job posting portal is featured prominently on the front page of the Career Services website; both students and alumni will be directed to this site when searching for jobs.
If you would like to come to campus to get the word out to large numbers of students about your company and the employment opportunities you have there, we can schedule a day for you to set up an information table in a high-traffic area of our student center. Call 706-864-1951 (Dahlonega campus), 678-717-3964 (Gainesville campus), and 706-310-6310 (Oconee campus) to plan in advance so we can create publicity to get the word out on campus that you'll be here.
Information sessions are typically 45-60 minutes in length, and give you the opportunity to speak to a group of interested students about employment or internship opportunities at your organization. Sessions are scheduled in a room with technological capabilities to allow employers to access the web, show promotional clips, etc. Call 706-864-1951 (Dahlonega campus), 678-717-3964 (Gainesville campus), or 706-310-6310 (Oconee campus) to plan in advance so we can create publicity to get the word out on campus that you'll be here.

Recruiting at UNG is open to employers with actual full-time and part-time positions, and career-related internships. Organizations offering “commission only” or “draw against commission” positions and non-compete covenant/contracts must fully disclose this information in the job posting. Employers requiring donations, application fees, or investments cannot recruit on campus through Career Services and may not post positions on the UNG job board. Virtual internships will not be approved for posting on the UNG Job Board. The Career Services staff reserves the right to require disclosure of other job- or company-related information as needed, and to grant and/or terminate an employer’s on-campus recruiting privileges as needed.
University policy prohibits canvassing or solicitation for funds, sales, or subscriptions on campus. Therefore, Career Services will not approve the posting of positions or recruiting visits for job opportunities which entail these types of activities.
Career Services facilities are to be used solely to speak with students and alumni from the University of North Georgia.
Career Services at UNG follows the Principals for Career Services Professionals adopted by the National Association of Colleges and Employers. As such, organizations that are involved in on-campus recruiting are expected to abide by the Principals for Employment Professionals.
THIRD-PARTY RECRUITER POLICY: Only third-party recruiting entities that have actual full-time, temp-to-hire or direct-hire positions available will be allowed to post those positions through the UNG Job Board. The actual client for which the position is being advertised must be revealed in the job description.
