Internship Spotlight

Spring internships are wrapping up, and participants have great things to say about their UNG MCCB internship experiences.

Here’s what Kathleen Childs, owner of Administrative Solutions Group, HR and Payroll solutions in Dahlonega, GA said about her intern sponsorship experience:

“I am happy to report life here at ASG would not be the same without Nicki (Parham). She is a tremendous asset to our firm and has a VERY bright future ahead of her. I am honored to be a part of her ‘training’ for such a future. After observing her work habits and attention to detail, I have made Nicki my protégé… I look forward to learning of her accomplishments in future years as she takes on corporate America…and my goodness, will she ever!!”

Morgan Lamberth had this to say upon reflecting on her internship at the Dahlonega-Lumpkin County Chamber of Commerce:

"My internship at the Dahlonega-Lumpkin County Chamber of Commerce has been unforgettable, and I will carry this experience throughout my career.  I gained valuable experience and knowledge in internet marketing, event preparation, and other key aspects of marketing that I would not have learned in the classroom.  My co-workers at the Chamber were very welcoming and eager to teach me things that will help me in my future career.  I greatly appreciate the opportunity that I have had this semester to work with the talented professionals at the Dahlonega-Lumpkin County Chamber of Commerce."
