During Fall and Spring semesters, non-cadet tours are given at 2:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. During the Summer, tours are given at 2:00 p.m. on select weekdays. Reservations for our campus tours are required.
Tours include a 20-minute information session and a 1.5 hour walking tour. Current students lead tours; thus, non-cadet tours are only available whenever classes are in session. During tours, we do our best to accommodate all registered visitors. To help us with this, please be sure to register for the actual number of people who will be attending the tour. Register for a tour NOW.
Special group tours can be given on a first-come, first-served basis for groups of 12-75 high school students, allowing larger groups to visit our campus. Since these tours are led by student tour guides, they are only available during the Spring and Fall semesters.
Due to high demand for special group tours and the limited number of student ambassadors available, we ask that groups be limited to no more than 75 high school students. Please schedule well in advance as these tours take more time to coordinate. Groups interested in health care professions wishing to have a special lecture and visitation to the Health and Natural Science building must limit their groups to no more than 25 (although groups of 10-12 are preferred).
To request a Special Group Tour, please contact Jonathan Cueva at jacueva@ung.edu .
There is only one way to know if a university is right for you and that is to experience it. Come join us for UNG-Dahlonega's next Open House held on Saturday morning, April 13, 2013 and tour the campus, meet current students, chat with faculty and learn about various student organizations and activities, financial aid, admissions, residence life and the Corps of Cadets.
