Alfredo Hernandez Soto lives in Hoschton, Georgia and has dedicated his whole life to education. Prior to teaching in the United States, he taught in Chile for sixteen years. Before arriving at UNG, he worked as an elementary school teacher (2008-2013) and as a middle grade math and technology teacher (2013-2018) for the World Language Academy in Hall County, Georgia.
He currently serves as one of the High School Equivalency Program (HEP) instructors. HEP is one out of two federally funded migrant programs at UNG.
