The Fundamentals of Geospatial Technology Certificate is a project-based program that combines theory and application to address real-world problems through experiential learning. Thus, course material is tied closely with the geospatial industry and participating students will gain valuable experience in project based classes. The courses for the certificate are regularly offered for the Bachelor of Science in Environmental Spatial Analysis degree. Completion of the certificate gives students a marketable set of unique skills that will allow them to find employment as a GIS technician.

GISC 2011 and GISC 2011L – Geographic Information Science Lecture and Lab
GISC 2012K – Fundamentals of Spatial Analysis
GISC 2201K – Fundamentals of Cartography and Earth Measurement
GISC 2202K – Fundamentals of Data Acquisition and Management
GISC 2203K – Fundamentals of Remote Sensing
