Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP)

Two students on campusQEP Background

UNG will be implementing a Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) as part of the university’s reaffirmation of accreditation by the Southern Association of Colleges Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC).  According to SACSCOC, the QEP “describes a carefully designed course of action that addresses a well-defined and focused topic or issue related to enhancing student learning and/or the environment supporting student learning and accomplishing the mission of the institution.”

Your Input

The process for identifying potential QEP topics is faculty-led and includes involvement from the entire university community. The QEP Topic Identification Committee, co-chaired by Dr. Chris Bell and Dr. Eugene Van Sickle, requests your input in identifying potential topics with the opportunity to advance student learning. To learn about potential topics and engage in discussion about them, we invite your participation in the QEP Blog.
