The UNG Libraries participate in the Federal Depository Library Program as a selective depository. The Government Documents collection operates out of the Dahlonega location and selects items relevant to the academic mission of the university. Collection Development decisions are made by the Depository Coordinator, who is the operational head of the Government Documents Department. This program is guided by the federal and state FDLP regulations.
The library provides free access to view these select documents to everyone, with check out privileges to students, faculty, staff, and community patrons with library cards.
