Are you stuck on a research project? Do you need help finding sources or picking a topic? Make an appointment for a research consultation!
A research consultation is a one-on-one appointment with a librarian for extensive, in-depth research assistance. We will arrange a time to teach you how to find information for your papers and projects, how to identify good information, and other research topics. We will do our best to match you with a librarian who has some expertise in the subject area of your research.
To request a research consultation, please complete the research consultation request form.
PLEASE NOTE: This service is only available to UNG students, faculty, and staff. We also require at least 48 hours’ notice (not including weekends) for all appointments. The more days and times you are available to meet, the more likely we will be able to schedule a research consultation for you. Thank you for your flexibility and cooperation.
SPECIAL NOTE FOR INSTRUCTORS: Due to time and staffing constraints, we cannot accommodate entire classes signing up for research consultation appointments. If your class needs assistance, please arrange for a library instruction session.
