The Master of Education program consists of 36 Semester Hours.

12 hours of Education Core

  • EDUC 6101 - Advanced Educational Assessment - 3 hours
  • EDUC 6102 - Instructional Leadership - 3 hours
  • EDUC 6103 - Diversity and Differentiated Instruction - 3 hours
  • EDUC 6001 - Education Research - 3 hours

6 hours of Mathematics Education

  • MAED 7050 - Pedagogical Techniques - 3 hours
  • MAED 7090 - Advanced Pedagogy - 3 hours

18 hours of Mathematics

  • These 18 hours must be graduate level mathematics and must include MATH 6700 (History of Mathematics) if the course was not taken at the undergraduate level.
