Computer Science Department

The department of Computer Science and Information Systems in the Mike Cottrell College of Business offers courses of study leading to the Bachelor of Science degree in computer science or computer information systems, the Bachelor of Business Administration in information systems, and the Associate of Science in computer science. The department also offers five minors and selected major concentrations: computer science, computer information systems, cyber security, information assurance and mobile app development.

The degrees, minors and coursework in computer science and information systems prepare graduates for high-tech careers in the thriving field of information technology (IT) and in businesses and organizations of all sizes. From our first computer science graduates in 1984 to our newest concentrations, our graduates have gone into exciting careers at Blizzard Entertainment, IBM, Adobe, AT&T, Equifax, ADP, HP, MetLife, UPS, the US Army and in countless other industries and government, non-profit, and educational organizations worldwide.
