The cost for a Cadet to attend in School Year 2013-2014 (these costs pertain to out-of-state students as well as Georgia state residents):
1st Semester:
$2,487 for tuition for 15 credit hours or more (out-of-state Cadets pay in-state tuition). If you take fewer than 15 credit hours, you will pay $165.90 per credit hour.
$909 for fees
$250 for room deposit (you will get this back after you leave the university)
$150 FROG Week fee fall semester; $75 spring semester
$2,451 for room
$1,890 for meals
$1,510 for uniforms ($1,110 if you attended Army basic training)
$600 for books and supplies (approximate)
$85 for student orientation
$260 for things you must purchase for your room (estimated)
Total 1st semester = $10,539
2d Semester (is less because you don't buy uniforms again, or pay deposits and orientation fees):
$2,487 for tuition for 15 credit hours or more (out-of-state Cadets pay in-state tuition)
$909 for fees
$2,451 for room
$1,890 for meals
$600 for books and supplies (approximate)
Total 2d semester = $8,325
Total for the year is $18,864
You will also need to factor in your transportation costs to and from the university a couple times per semester, and spending money.
