Brass Ensembles

The UNG Trombone Choir

Directed by Dr. Adam Frey

The University of North Georgia (UNG) Trombone Choir presents numerous performances around north Georgia. They can be heard in formal concerts at UNG as well as informal settings in area high schools, middle schools, and churches. The group is made up of UNG non-music major students, music majors, community members, and professors. The group performs repertoire from the Baroque and Classical eras up to original repertoire, jazz, and pop tunes.

The UNG Tuba Euphonium Ensemble

The UNG Tuba Euphonium Ensemble presents numerous performances around north Georgia. They can be heard in formal concerts at UNG as well as informal settings in area high schools, middle schools, and churches and around campus. The group is made up of UNG non-music major students, music majors, community members, and professors. The group performs repertoire from the Baroque and Classical eras up to original repertoire, jazz, and pop tunes. They are THE Heavy Metal Music "band" on campus! They host an annual OcTUBAfest celebration.
