Several University of North Georgia faculty members recently competed in the Muddy Duck Dash on the Gainesville campus. Held on April 27, the race consisted of a 3.5 mile obstacle course with each contestant carrying their own rubber duck. The fundraising event was hosted by the health, physical education, and recreation faculty of UNG's College of Education and benefited the Southeastern Brain Tumor Foundation. Warren Caputo, assistant professor of education, health, and wellness and the event's main coordinator, ran the race with his young son.
