UNG hosting Open House events for prospective students

Open House - Oconee

With high school students in the midst of the college application process, each of the University of North Georgia's (UNG) campuses is hosting Open House events to give future Nighthawks a chance to see what opportunities await at UNG.

"We have an Open House on each campus every semester. These are tremendous opportunities for prospective students and parents to learn about how UNG can prepare students for careers or further education after graduating college," said Keith Antonia, executive director of undergraduate admissions. "Prospective students learn about academic programs, co-curricular programs and activities, financial aid, admissions process, take a campus tour, and more."

The dates and locations for Fall Open Houses are:

  • Gainesville Campus: Oct. 12, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Continuing Education Center, 3820 Mundy Mill Road, Oakwood, Ga.
  • Oconee Campus: Oct. 19, 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Student Resource Center, 1201 Bishop Farms Pkwy., Watkinsville, Ga.
