Dr. Chaudron Gille is UNG's new vice provost of Academic Affairs.

University of North Georgia (UNG) Provost Dr. Tom Ormond has announced that Dr. Chaudron Gille will assume the role as vice provost of Academic Affairs effective immediately.

"Without question, Dr. Gille will be a positive addition to the Academic Affairs team and will be responsible for assorted tasks, including but not limited to curriculum review and approval, student appeals and concerns, oversight of graduate programs and a myriad of tasks aimed at advancing the unit," Ormond said.

Gille brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the role, having served UNG for more than 20 years as faculty member, Center for Teaching, Learning and Leadership (CTLL) director, associate vice president for University Affairs, and, most recently, interim vice provost.
