The Department of Physics offers programs of study leading to the Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) and to the Associate of Science degree (A.S.). The department also offers a dual degree program which allows students to receive both a bachelor's degree in physics from UNG and a bachelor's degree in engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, Clemson University, or Mercer University. Students begin their studies at UNG and after completing a specified 90-credit-hour curriculum, transfer to the engineering college where they complete a degree in engineering.
