The pavilion at Pine Valley is a great location for picnics and gatherings. There are 10 picnic tables as well as 4 serving tables. During cooler weather, the pavilion can be enclosed by lowering the doors surrounding it. A heating system is available for use as well as a large stone fireplace.
UNG Groups can use the pavilion for free. Please contact the Student Center at 706-864-1643 to make arrangements.
Outside Groups can rent the pavilion - groups under 100 people, the cost is $75, and groups over 100, is $100. Please contact the Student Center at 706-864-1643 to make reservations.
The course consists of both low and high ropes elements. Generally, low ropes are used for team building as well as a great way for a group to come together and become better acquainted. Low ropes elements often target development of skills within a group such as leadership, communication, conflict resolution, problem solving, and planning. Involvement in high ropes activities also bonds groups together through having a shared adventure experience.
Outside Groups should contact the office of Continuing Education at 706-864-1918 for pricing and reservations.
