Pre-Award Services

The mission of Pre-Award Services is to advance the excellence of teaching, research and service programs at the University of North Georgia (UNG) across all campuses by supporting external fund raising initiatives that meet institutional priorities.

This mission is carried out by serving faculty, staff and administrators as well as institutional partners who support UNG programs. Pre-Award Services is part of Grants & Contracts Administration and works closely with Business & Finance, and the UNG Foundation to ensure that grants are developed in compliance with applicable policies and requirements.

All grant initiatives involving charitable gifts will be led by the UNG Foundation. This will help ensure that donor protocols are respected and that each donor receives a gift acknowledgement/charitable giving receipt.
