UNG uses a systemic planning process to support external fund raising initiatives that meet college needs.
Please contact your department head regarding your proposed project to help ensure that the initiative will have institutional support before you invest significant amounts of time and effort in preparing a proposal.
A Grant Proposal Fact Sheet and Sign-Off Form is required before institutional approval can be granted to submit an application. This form must be signed by all the following:
Principal Investigator/Project Director’s department chair/ dean/director
UNG Foundation Chief Executive Officer (if the proposal will be submitted through the UNG Foundation)
Associate Provost for Research & Engagement/Chief Research Officer
Provost/Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs
Senior Vice President for Business & Finance
If faculty or staff from more than one unit are participating in the project, their respective department heads and dean/directors must sign the form as well.
This form is often referred to as the Blue Sheet. Since more than 10 signatures could potentially be required, the UNG Administration asked that the Blue Sheet be submitted at least two weeks prior to the proposal deadline.
