Please contact the Department of Modern Languages (706-864-1682) for more information.
The Mathematics Tutorial Center is located in Room 211 Newton Oakes Center. Each semester the center is typically scheduled to be open from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday only. The Center is staffed by department majors that have other responsibilities so these hours are merely approximate. Scheduling does not permit availability of help in every course at all times but a current schedule is posted outside the door. No appointments are needed, walk-in, sign-in and the next available tutor will assist you.
Please contact the Department of Mathematics (706-864-1805) for more information.
The Dahlonega Writing Center is a place where writers working in any discipline and at any level of competence meet with trained peer tutors in informal, one-on-one tutoring sessions that focus on writing. In half-hour sessions, tutors may help you brainstorm ideas, construct or improve a central assertion or thesis, incorporate sources appropriately, and/or show you how to identify grammar errors and teach you strategies for correcting those errors.
Students can schedule appointments by visiting WCOnline, registering an account, and scheduling an appointment.
You may contact the Writing Center at 706-867-2979 if you have any questions.
