Compass Exam Requirements

All applicants wishing to enroll at University of North Georgia for Fall 2012 semester or later who are required to take the COMPASS exam must meet minimum scores. The following minimum scores have been established for admission purposes by the Georgia Board of Regents:

  • Reading: 62
  • English: 32
  • Mathematics: 20

Applicants will not be eligible for admission if:

  • They place into three areas of Learning Support and present one or more scores that fall below the established minimums, OR
  • They place into two areas of Learning Support and present two scores that fall below the established minimums.
