Faculty Resources and Opportunities
FUSE seeks to engage teams of faculty and students in focused and meaningful research, scholarly and creative activities from mid-May through the end of June. Research teams will be awarded a faculty stipend of $4,000, a student stipend of $2,500, and up to $500 for materials necessary to complete the scholarly project. Apply now!
Mini-grants offer up to $3,000 in supply funding to support undergraduate research projects in all academic areas. Faculty members should apply during the fall semester and may choose to allocate some of their funding to take on student assistants. Mini grants funds are not to be used for travel unless it is absolutely critical to the research project. Apply now!

Students who engage in research and creative activities as undergraduates have higher learning gains, such as problem solving and critical thinking skills, and increased self-confidence and independence, when compared to students who do not participate in undergraduate research and creative activities.
