UK Summer Fulbright Research - Interdisciplinary

Fulbright UK Summer Programs

This summer opportunity is open to outstanding first- and second- year students with a distinct interest in the United Kingdom. The program fully funds students to participate in one of 9 summer programs in different colleges across England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales. Each opportunity has a distinct focus:

  • AIFS Summer Institute at Shakespeare's Globe
  • Durham University Summer Institute (The Northern Borders of Empire to the Making of the Middle Ages)
  • King's College London Summer Institute (Leading, Inventing and Reinventing: Britain Past and Present)
  • Nottingham Trent University Summer Institute (Creativity, Culture, History, and Heritage, with an Emphasis on Space, Place, and Time)
  • Queen's University Belfast Summer Institute (Understanding Ireland: Northern Perspectives)
  • Scotland Summer Institute (Scotland: Identity, Culture and Innovation)
  • University of Bristol Summer Institute (Slavery and the Atlantic Heritage)
  • University of Exeter Summer Institute (Issues in Climate Change)
  • Wales Summer Institute (Contemporary Wales: Industry, Politics, Culture and Change)

The deadline to apply is February 26th or March 5th (depending on the school).
