About the Website
The University of North Georgia (UNG) follows the Board of Regents (BOR) Accessibility Guidelines.
UNG is committed to providing websites that are accessible to all people, with or without disabilities. To do this, the University Relations web team is working to make the UNG public website compliant with the Section 508 Standards and the W3C's Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0, level AA. The deadline to accomplish this goal is December 2017, dates are subject to change.
The web team is using Siteimprove web governance tools to monitor the UNG website (ung.edu) for accessibility issues.

UNG seeks to continuously improve its web presence and does so primarily through the Web Advisory Council (WAC). In addition to the Web Advisory Council, the University Relations web team seeks to improve the university website through focus groups, surveys, and staying abreast on best practices and web technologies. Suggestions for improvement and website issues should be emailed to email@example.com.
