The scholarship will pay half the TEFL Certificate tuition, and the student pays the other half. Once the student completes the TEFL Certificate, completes his/her UNG degree, and signs a contract with AIEG to teach in China, the student will be reimbursed from AIEG the TEFL tuition that s/he paid.
Atlanta International Education Group provides AIEG Scholarship for TEFL Certification Fund for UNG students, through the Center of Language Education in the college of Education.

• The student must have at least a 3.0 G.P.A. • Preference will be given to junior or senior UNG students who desire to teach English in AIEG partner schools in China after graduation from UNG.
Recipients of the TEFL Certificate scholarship are asked to teach in China for 10-months after completing a degree from UNG and finishing the TEFL Certificate.

Salary: The majority of English teaching jobs in China pay a monthly salary. The salary depends on location and working time. The scholarship will include airplane ticket and medical insurance, and on-campus housing.
Hours: full-time teaching is generally considered to be between 12-20 teaching hours per week in China. However, this number varies according to the type of school or institute.
