OCAF Members UNG Exhibit

Oconee Cultural Arts Foundation (OCAF) members are invited to submit art for the Oconee Art Gallery's fourth, biennial exhibition of work by held on the Oconee campus. The juror will be Natalie Mault, curator of the Hunter Museum of American Art. She will select work to be included in the exhibition and chose a winner of the best in show title. This artist will be awarded a solo exhibition to be held in the 2020 – 2021 academic year.

This year’s theme is Georgia on My Mind. Any interpretation of this theme is welcome. Our goal is to have a cohesive but diverse array of artwork reflecting what the state of Georgia means to different people.

OCAF members may submit up to two (2) works for consideration. These works must have been done in 2018 – 2019. Giclee prints and photographs on canvas or metal will not be accepted. Also, due to limitations in our display furniture, no jewelry will be accepted. Works must be delivered ready to hang.

The deadline for entries is Friday, September 13, 2019 at noon. Notification of acceptance into the exhibition will occur by October 4. The exhibition will be on view from October 21 – November 27, 2019.

Artists selected for the exhibition must be current OCAF members. Approximately 20 artworks will be selected.
