Professional Ethics Training and Education
Seeking ethics training to maintain your certification?
The BB&T Center for Ethical Leadership in the Mike Cottrell College of Business is proud to introduce the Building Ethics Leader Certificate program, an ethics training program.
We have developed three ethics training courses designed to facilitate critical thinking around ethical decision making through the intersection of the ethical self, ethical management and ethical leadership.
We also offer Course 1: Exploring the Ethical Self on campus at the University of North Georgia. Continue reading to learn more or to register for an upcoming class.
Course 1: Exploring the Ethical Self
In Course 1: Exploring the Ethical Self, participants will complete an Ethical Lens Inventory (ELI) assessment prior to the ethics training class and will begin to understand their own preferred ethical perspective when making decisions. The full-day workshop focuses on the ELI findings, what it means and how it plays into the decision-making process using the Baird Decision Model.
After the course, participants have the option to complete a post-course Mastery online exercise (required for those seeking the Business Ethics Leader Certificate).
0.9 CEUs (CE credits) will be issued for pre-assessment and classroom participation. An additional 0.2 CEUs will be issued for post-course Mastery.
4-6 CLE or CPE credits are available dependent on industry.
