Purpose of Commuter Council
The commuter students at The University of North Georgia make up over 70% of the student population. The Commuter Council is responsible for communicating with commuter students, serving commuter students, strengthening the morale of commuters and engaging commuters with their campus. Commuter Council regularly hosts events including Welcome Back Events, Meet 'n' Mingle, Commuter Appreciation Days are more.
Join Commuter Council
Commuter Council serves as a unifying force for commuting students that works to fully integrate undergraduate, nontraditional, and graduate commuters into the total life of the University. The council represents the views and concerns of commuter students to the university and facilitates effective communication between commuters, resident students, faculty and staff.
- Commuter Council elections are held every fall and spring.
- Meetings are held every Monday at 4:00pm in the Room C located in Hoag Student Center.
