Digital Photography Certificate
The Digital Photography Certificate is delivered in various settings on campus and consists of Photography 1 – Beginner, Photography 2 – Intermediate, Photography 3 – Advanced, Digital Darkroom, and 3 electives.
Note: Students may substitute Outdoor Photography in place of their 3 electives.
Professional Photography Certificate
The Professional Photography Certificate includes the same basic requirements as our Digital Photography Certificate and then pushes students to expand their skill set on a broader scale, which is necessary for a freelance photographer. Students are required to complete Photography 1 – Beginner, Photography 2 – Intermediate, Photography 3 – Advanced, Digital Darkroom, Outdoor Photography, 3 electives, and the Photography Portfolio Capstone Course in which students finalize their portfolios and showcase their work during a final exhibition.
Note for All Photography Classes: Students need not be part of the certificate programs to enroll in photography courses. In addition, if students wish to earn credit/CEU for classes, they must attend 80% of each class they have registered for and complete all course assignments. Students must be 18 years or older to enroll in courses. Participants are encouraged to complete program within 18 months.
