Artist Statement
The love for seeing the world one frame at a time. I have not been everywhere yet…but I love to share the world I have seen from my perspective. Photographs are memories frozen in time. Looking at photographs is like wearing new glasses…seeing from another’s angle. My mission is to preserve precious moments for others to treasure for years to come and show the world to everyone.
Artist Biography
I began taking photographs as a young girl chasing Mickey Mouse with my grandmother’s Kodak Disc camera. She eventually gave me the camera as my pictures turned out better than hers did. I have always been intrigued with camera settings and trying the “what if I change this” method. This was not so productive with film. Now using a DSLR camera I am more explorative and will try all settings to get the shot exactly right. I received my current camera as a gift several years back and am enjoying using its fullest range of settings. I see the need for a new camera soon to keep up with the ever-changing technology. UNG Photography Certificate has given me the courage and confidence to be a professional photographer.
