Vickie is a Digital Multimedia Online Learning Designer for eCore and based at University of North Georgia in Gainesville, Georgia. She holds an Ed.S. from the University of Georgia in Instructional Technology. She earned her Masters degree at University of North Georgia, Dahlonega, and her B.A. from Piedmont College, Demorest, Georgia. She has served many roles in public and private education. She began her teaching career in elementary grades. She then furthered her education at Georgia State College to become a Literacy Collaborative Academic Coach and Reading Recovery teacher. She holds certifications to teach K-5, Middle Grades Language Arts, Business Education, and Engineering Technology. Her teaching experience in Audio Video Tech and Film in Career Tech Ag Education at Rabun County High School, and her experience at Truett McConnell College in Instructional Design for the online program makes her a great fit for distance education with eCore partnered with University of North Georgia.
