Overview
Tony began working for the Center for Global Engagement in March 2015 after serving as the cadet admissions director at the University of North Georgia. Most notably, Tony retired as a lieutenant colonel in 2012 after 24 ½ years of service in the U.S. Army as an infantry officer. His Army assignments included nearly 15 years in various airborne, air assault, mechanized, and Ranger units. His last assignment in the Army was the commanding officer and professor of military science for the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia. He received his bachelor's degree from Armstrong Atlantic State University in Savannah, Georgia, holds a Master's Degree from the Air Force Command and Staff College in Montgomery, Alabama, and is pursuing his Doctorate in management from the University of Phoenix. As the associate director for the Center for Global Engagement, Tony manages the Federal Service Language Academy, international internships, military international programs, and CULP/CELTT programs.
