Lacie began working for the Center for Global Engagement (CGE) in 2012 as a student worker, when she discovered her passion for international education. After participating with three programs studying in Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, and Canada, she volunteered as an international peer advisor until she graduated from the University of North Georgia in 2015. Lacie has also worked for CGE over the summers as a counselor for the Federal Service Language Academy, a program where high school students learn critical foreign languages over a three to six-week period. She currently serves as the International Projects Coordinator on the Dahlonega campus, assisting with FSLA, international internships, and military programs.
