Forms and Templates

GCA provides various proposal templates such as checklists, budget spreadsheets and justifications, biographical sketches, letters of commitment, and much more.

In addition, certain forms are required to gain approvals and ensure compliance throughout the grant lifecycle. GCA will help you determine which forms are required for your proposal and award and assist you with their completion.

Semester Series Workshops

GCA hosts the Grant Workshop Semester Series every Fall and Spring, featuring Finding Funding, Grant Proposal Basics, and Grant Budgeting 101. These workshops are designed to introduce new investigators to the grant process and can serve as a refresher to past investigators hoping to up their “grant game.” All UNG faculty and staff interested in applying for grants are welcome. Check for upcoming workshops on our Events Calendar.

UNG Grants Academy

Each May, Grants & Contracts Administration offers an intensive Grants Academy for UNG faculty and staff members interested in seeking external funding to advance their work at UNG. During this four-day program, participants have the opportunity to learn about the entire external grant funding process, including identifying sources of funding, proposal and budget preparation, and post-award activities. Applications for participation in Grants Academy are accepted in early April. Please check back in April for a link to the online application page.

Email grants@ung.edu for additional information on resources available to UNG employees for grants and contracts activities.
