Internal Transfer (formerly Transition) Staff
Our Internal Transfer staff are available to:
- Meet with students to help them determine if an internal transfer is right for them based on requirements and academic goals
- Answer questions about the processes and requirements for all faculty, staff, and students
- Direct students to the appropriate campus resources necessary for a successful transition to new degree level or home campus
- Host information sessions and tables each semester on all campuses to promote requirements and deadlines
Meet our Staff
Vincent Prior, M.Ed.
Coordinator of Transfer and Transition Programs
Orientation and Transition Programs
Due to campus capacity, we are no longer accepting summer or fall 2017 applications for the Dahlonega and Oconee Campuses.
Spring – October 1
Summer and Fall – March 1
Applications received after the deadline will only be reviewed for acceptance if it is possible to accommodate the internal transfer request and late applications may not be processed in time for early registration. Campus capacity, course availability, and reasons for internal transfer may impact ability to accommodate late applications.
The term "transition" is being phased out and will now be referred to as "internal transfer". This website is currently being updated to reflect those changes.
