Associate of Science in Core Curriculum (Kinesiology Pathway) with a Concentration in Exercise Science

The major in Health and Physical Education is a curriculum designed to prepare students to transfer to four-year schools where they can pursue further study with the goal to teach health and physical education in the P-12 school system. Students who study health and physical education are exposed to the instructional techniques and acquire the cognitive skill that will enable them to be successful at all school levels. The Health and Physical Education curriculum also includes classes in anatomy and physiology, contemporary classroom issues, and health and wellness principles.
