How to access the USG catalog

Transcript Starts

The University of North Georgia Libraries has a new GIL-Find catalog. It has many new features, you may however wonder:

Where’s the Universal Catalog now?

It’s no longer called the Universal Catalog but you can still access the USG libraries catalogs in one location. How you ask?

From the UNG GIL-Find catalog, make sure you’ve selected the GIL-Find tab, Enter your search term or terms.

You can then select University of North Georgia or University System of Georgia.

In the Advanced Search, you will enter your search term or terms, select search limiters, and then select University System of Georgia in the Search Scope pull down.

What is great is that you can shift between the UNG catalog and the USG catalogs AND you don’t have to re-enter your search terms! Easy right?
