Dr. Osmond's research interests are in building creativity domains in classroom learning, science education for equity diversity and social justice, informal education an pedagogy, international comparative educational cultures, space exploration, and emerging technologies. He is excited to work on any project that is student-lead or multidisciplinary. He is actively involved in investigating how cultural paradigms shape science self-efficacy and motivation. Another area of investigation is how socially ethical classrooms promote positive divergent thinking (creativity) and resourcefulness (also creativity). Dr. Osmond is an active inventor whose passion about sharing the artistic-engineering design cycle with his students and colleagues keeps him quite productive.
