    Overview

    Yizhe Huang has taught Chinese as a Foreign Language in the U.S and China. Dr. Huang is passionate about promoting learner’s Chinese language proficiency, developing their intercultural communication competence (ICC), and transforming them to global professionals and lifelong learners.

    Dr. Huang is a certified tester and rater of Oral Proficiency Interview, and a rater of Assessment of Performance toward Proficiency in Languages by the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL). Her research interests are second language acquisition, ICC development, and global mobility in higher education.
