    MSA Ambassador Program

    About the Program

    The Office of Multicultural Student Affairs MSA Ambassador Program is for students that are dedicated to serving and representing the office, our programs, and our mission of assisting and supporting in all efforts to recruit and retain underrepresented students by providing special assistance with personal, social or academic concerns, as well as other guidance. MSA Ambassadors selected will help host MSA Events and act as a student liaison to various communities/entities that the office serves.

    What You'll Do

    Students agree to attend meetings, trainings, workshops, and campus events to increase their knowledge, awareness, and skills regarding diversity on UNG’s campus. This program is designed to create opportunities for students to actively engage in activities to advance diversity and inclusion.

    Qualifications

    • Be in good standing at UNG.
    • Exhibit academic excellence, strong communication skills both verbal and written, leadership skills, and strong interpersonal skills.
    • Be willing to serve and represent the Office of Multicultural Student Affairs and interface with the many communities which the university serves and be enrolled and be able to represent the in a credible manner throughout the entire school year (3 consecutive calendar semesters)
    • Be enrolled and be able to represent MSA in a credible manner throughout the entire school year (three consecutive calendar semesters).
    • Be able to attend scheduled mandatory training and agree to the time commitment to fulfill Ambassador duties.
