The University of North Georgia Orchestra is a string ensemble that rehearses weekly and presents concerts both on campus and in the community. All students are invited to participate, and auditions take place in the first week of class each semester. We perform a wide variety of orchestral literature. In the fall semester, the orchestra focuses on string repertoire. In the spring semester, we bring in wind and percussion players and perform works for mixed ensemble. Students of all majors can enroll in orchestra for one credit hour, and scholarships are available for players with leadership potential. For more information contact Dr. Esther Morgan-Ellis.
