This April, the University of North Georgia will present senior art exhibitions on three campuses. The shows will feature artwork from graduating seniors on the Dahlonega, Gainesville, and Oconee campuses and will represent the culmination of each student’s development as an artist at UNG.

As part of the UNG presidential inauguration festivities, the Oconee campus will present its Graduating Art Students & Scholarship Award Winners Exhibit from April 3-26. The show opens with a reception and awards ceremony at 5:30 p.m. on April 3. This marks the first time that an exhibit features students graduating from the Associate of Arts program on the Oconee campus.

The Dahlonega campus presents the Department of Visual Arts’ senior capstone exhibits, with the first exhibits in the series running through April 7 in the Library Technology Center. The exhibit features works from 10 graduating seniors. There will also be a reception on April 4 from 5-6:30 p.m. The second exhibition in the series will run from April 9-21 with a reception on April 18.

The Gainesville campus will present its annual spring semester Graduating Art Students Exhibit from April 1 to May 1 in the Roy C. Moore Art Gallery. The show will feature works from graduating art and art education majors and includes a celebratory closing reception on May 1 at 5:30 p.m.
