UNG student receives internship at Walt Disney World

Sara Jo Margherio, a sophomore at UNG's Dahlonega Campus and a member of Kappa Delta sorority, was recently selected for an internship at Walt Disney World in Orlando for the Spring 2015 semester. There are more than 300 applicants for every position awarded and applicants must meet several other requirements, including being a full-time or part-time student and meeting their university's requirements for accepting the internship, such as being in good standing, having a 3.0 GPA or higher, and having a certain number of credit hours completed.

Margherio has been selected to work within the food and beverage industry in Walt Disney World. During the program, interns live and work on the Disney grounds with people from all over the world.

"Working at the park as a paid intern will give me the opportunity to have an amazing experience with each guest I encounter, no matter their age," Margherio said.
