Caldwell receives Louise McBee Scholarship

Sheila Caldwell, Complete College Georgia director at the University of North Georgia (UNG) and current graduate student, has received the Louise McBee scholarship for 2015.

Each year the Georgia Association of Women in Higher Education (GAWHE) presents a scholarship and mentor award to a female educator who is enrolled in a graduate program. The scholarship is in honor of Dr. Louise McBee, who served as vice president for academic affairs emerita of the University of Georgia (UGA). This year, GAWHE presented $1,000 to Sheila and $500 to her mentor, Dr. Al Panu, senior vice president for university affairs at UNG.

Sheila earned a Bachelor of Science in business marketing from Northern Illinois University and a Master of Arts in educational leadership from Argosy University. She is currently working toward a doctorate in workforce education at UGA.
