Sanghee Choi is an associate professor in the Department of Teacher Education in the College of Education. She was trained as an analytical chemist and earned doctoral degrees in science and education. She is a program coordinator for Science Education and Graduate Program in Curriculum and instruction. Her teaching interests include developing Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) curriculum and workshops and training K-16 students and classroom teachers science and engineering practices. Her primary research interests are in the field of STEM education and Scientific Literacy. Specifically. She is interested in student scientific writing, pedagogies of STEM and scientific argumentation, and the integration of science and other subject areas.
