UNG to hold admission open houses
(Oct. 3, 2014) Prospective students eager to see what awaits them at the University of North Georgia (UNG) will soon have the opportunity to tour the university's campuses and learn about UNG in upcoming Open House events. Also, UNG is hosting an information session on Oct. 13 for adults interested in returning to college to complete their degrees.
"Open house provides an opportunity for prospective students and their parents to learn about the programs and opportunities available for them at UNG," said Keith Antonia, executive director of undergraduate admissions. "Faculty, staff and student organizations showcase and explain their activities to visitors, and UNG student ambassadors provide campus tours. Prospective students and families leave with a better understanding of how UNG can help them accomplish their goals and dreams. Open house thus provides more informed decisions about college choice."
